OK, so I’m officially back after a 2.5 years hiatus! How is everyone!?
There are some exciting videos that will be coming up! For the first one, I’ve chosen a topic that has been my hobby in the past two years: tilt-shift photography !
Here is how it works:
Tilt-Shift photography allows manipulating a life-size object or location to give an impression of a photograph of a miniature scale model. This can be achieved by a tilt-shift lens or by digital post-processing, also called fake tilt-shift.
Tilt-shift photos are usually taken from a high angle to simulate the effect of “looking down at a miniature set”. By applying “narrow focus” on an object in the image, the object becomes the main focus and the rest becomes blurry.
This will give the impression of a “miniature object”.By increasing “color saturation” & “contrast”, the image will further look like a “painted model”.
I've explained how you can create your first tilt shift photo!
